A1 (Beginner) for Adults – Regular

• Take your first steps into Modern Greek at a relaxed pace. Learn useful phrases, cultural insights, and practical vocabulary while having ample time for revisions. Ideal for travelers, hobbyists, or anyone with a busy schedule.
• Students completing both courses are ready to participate in the A1 Greek Language Certification Exams.
• 2 classes per week (1 class = 100 mins).
• Minimal need for self-study (1-2 hours per week).

Upon completion of both A1 courses (A1.a & A1.b), you will be able to:

• Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
• Introduce yourself and others and ask and answer questions about personal details (where you come from, where you live, people you know, preferences).
• Interact simply—provided the speaker talks slowly, clearly, and is ready to help.
• Manage simple, everyday communicative situations on topics such as home, work, family, daily routine, food, likes, dislikes, describing people, shopping and much more.
• Experience various aspects of modern Greek culture.
